SmartGuard™ Technology puts Medtronic at the forefront of innovation and we should protect our brand name by following the below Do’s and Don'ts.
DO'S
Always use the term SmartGuard™ in every external call.
Do use the brand with the descriptor: "SmartGuard™ technology", same as other companies say: "LEVI’S jeans", "Pampers diapers" or "KELLOGG's cornflakes".
DON'TS
Don't forget about consistency - always call it SmartGuard™, not Smart Guard or SM, or SmartGuards.
Don’t forget to use trade mark symbol when referring to this technology:SmartGuard™ .
